Liddy F5 Mandolins are crafted from the finest
available woods selected for tonal qualities and figure
to provide the bluegrass or jazz mandolinist with the traditional sound, power
and projection demanded in acoustic music. Tops are from Adirondack, Englemann
or Sitka spruce, and the backs sides and necks are from American sugar or red
maple.
The top and back plates are individually tuned and graded to ensure they work together to optimize performance.
Careful attention is paid to the set-up to ensure the instruments are comfortable and fast to play.
Selected mother of pearl is used for the peg head logo and inlay, with a choice of the distinctive Fern inlay style of the 1925 era or the early 1920s Flower Pot.
Top flight craftmanship and hand rubbed traditional Cremona or Tobacco sunburst finishes make these instruments a joy to own and play - or just to look at!
The mandolins are supplied with quality hard shell cases.
All Liddy Instruments come with a limited lifetime warranty to the original owner.
